Whispers of Wrath

Whispers of Wrath is a video installation combining themes of social class inequality and revenge as a visceral reaction to economically based injustice. Disjointed, surreal and anachronistic, the installation follows the structure of Netflix series, with features such as "skip the intro" and "skip the recap" and references to the world of K-Dramas. A critique of contemporary identity politics, which neglects social class to focus on gender and racial differences, in an attempt to challenge simplistic narratives of marginalisation and highlight the multifaceted nature of oppression and resistance.
