WREN CELLIER

PURPLE ROAD, DUMP SUN

SOUND & READING PERFORMANCE

Like a recording of instability, PURPLE ROAD, DAMP SUN is a manifesto for restoring what is being emptied, but also, and above all, the voices that fill, those that ignite, that water, that spread and that try to emerge despite the rusty chains of a decaying world. Seizing on the last traces of human parasitism, PURPLE ROAD, DAMP SUN makes room for the softness of words and the power of rage. From the tiniest breath to the dormant sap, from discomfort to the banality of an instant, can poetry work like a bandage?
