Giuliana Rosso (Turin, 1992) lives and works in Turin, Italy. Her artistic practice moves across painting and drawing, frequently expanding through the use of papier-mâché and installations to explore the relationship with the surrounding space. Her work investigates a human condition of constant restlessness, where childhood and adolescence become a metaphor for broad themes of transition, fragility, and anxiety, often set in relation with folk imaginaries, altered states, and alternative realities. With her work she intends to highlight the world of less visible sensations and moods.
She has recently exposed at Massimo, Milano 2022; Castello di Rivoli, Torino 2020; Almanac Inn, Torino 2019; VEDA, Firenze 2019; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino 2019; Galleria Massimo Minini, Brescia 2019; Monitor, Roma 2019.
